Every destination wedding is packaged individually, there's no one-size-fits-all approach because no two destinations are the same. When you enquire, I'll put together a bespoke quote that covers everything: photography, videography, and all travel logistics, presented as a single investment with nothing hidden and nothing added afterwards. Will travel and accommodation be added to our quote?
Travel and accommodation are built into your quote from the start, not itemised separately or added on afterwards. You receive one proposal covering everything, so there's no ambiguity and no back-and-forth over expenses. If you're planning a wedding abroad, get in touch with your details and I'll handle the rest.
How far in advance should I book for a destination wedding?
As early as possible, destination wedding dates fill up quickly, particularly during peak season. I'd recommend getting in touch at least 12 months before your wedding date to secure your booking. A deposit secures the date and I'll guide you through everything else from there.
How do you handle travel logistics to make sure everything runs smoothly?
Logistics are something I take seriously on every destination wedding. I always aim to arrive one to two days before the wedding day itself, that buffer means any travel delays, jet lag, or last minute surprises are dealt with well before I ever pick up a camera on your day. I also carry full backup equipment to every shoot without exception. If you have specific concerns about your destination, timeline, or anything else, raise them when you enquire and I'll address them directly.
Do you shoot photography and video yourself, or is it a two-person team?
When you book Xiarm for both photography and videography, you always get a two-person team, a dedicated photographer and a dedicated videographer, both travelling to your destination. This is non-negotiable because quality is everything, and one person cannot do both jobs to the standard destination weddings deserve.
